A NEW LOOK AND SOME NEW FACES
For the yearly Diploma Campaign (Diplome25) at the Hochschule der Künste Bern (HKB), we had the opportunity to pitch a fresh visual concept for the school. Working together with Angel Zahner we went for something bold, fun, and nostalgic, mixing Y2K vibes, cuteness, and playfulness. We proposed six characters, each one representing a different department, plus one for the entire HKB. The idea was to make the campaign feel approachable and fun for a wide audience — not just
students, but also visitors and people outside the school. We also wanted to give future alumnis a campagin to remember. All while keeping in mind, that everything has to work across different types of media. Taking this into account, we pitched a concept consisting of: Seven posters, three animations, a cardboard display as a waypointer, a concept for web and social media usage and a sticker pack. In the end, our concept came in third place and thus unfortunately did not get realised.
